COVID-19 and Other Infectious Disease Alerts

LogoCovid-19
  • During outbreak testing, we test employees twice per week.
  • It is recommended that visitors postpone visits with residents who are in precautions until the resident is off precautions (quarantine). Precautions are typically lifted after 10 days following an exposure or being diagnosed with COVID-19.
  • Because the community’s transmission level for COVID-19 remains high, the facility is currently recommending that all visitors wear a mask and face shield for the entire time they are in the facility, unless an exception is granted by Infection Prevention and Nursing Administration. This is to help protect our residents, staff and others from COVID-19.
  • Experts are recommending that all residents be fully vaccinated and receive a booster when eligible for COVID-19. If you are a legal representative for a resident who is not currently vaccinated for COVID-19 and boosted and would like to authorize a vaccination, please contact our Infection Prevention Department (906-874-1223 or 906-874-1222).
