Visitors

Welcome to the Iron County Medical Care Facility, we are happy you are here. Whether you are here to visit a family member, friend, or old neighbor, we want to protect our residents from any outside illnesses. Please review the list below for some of our recommended guidelines:

  • Visitors no longer need to be screened. Instead, it is recommended that visitor postpone their visits if they have any one or more of the following, in order to help prevent the introduction or spread of COVID-19 to our vulnerable population and employees:
  • Current COVID-19 infection
  • Signs or symptoms of an infection
  • Been exposed to someone with COVID-19 within the past 10 days
  • Visitors are asked to continue to log in and out of the facility. The visitor log is located on the desk in the front office.
  • Visitors should read all signs and notices and abide by them. Signs will remind you of times visitation is not recommended, what protective equipment is recommended or required, and other important information.
  • Frequent hand hygiene is still recommended.
  • It is recommended that if a resident is on transmission -based precautions (isolation) that visitors postpone their visit for their own safety. When visiting a resident who is on precautions, please talk to the nurse regarding required personal protective equipment that you should wear during your visit.
Please be sure to read the alert at the bottom righthand side of our homepage about visitation and respiratory outbreaks. You can also access that page by clicking here
